Kristian Vester asked us to co-publish this book. It was an interesting process: already having designed it, he insisted on many, many skype handshakes about us not changing anything on the inside. We didn't. However, we did turn it into a miniature textbook, with its spiral binding and chip board cover. It's a small artifact documenting the eccentricities of that man. "See, we have just eliminated ordinary notational forms. This is not a thing you can write where you just move something from A to B, because they will be pulled in so many directions at the exact same time, and each of them exists at the same very moment, pulling with the exact same strength. You see, this is not a question of moving from A to B, this is a question of notating something that pulls and at the same time exists in a vacuum, right there in the middle. You see, if one fake French rap is pulling in one direction, well, fair enough -- then if a monster howling is pulling in another direction too, well, that's still reasonable -- there you have a line, you can see you can move from the fake French rap and straight down to the monster howling, and the real problem occurs when we bring more than two objects into the composition."
